Lent is personal, but it is not private. These prayers focus on the community gathered together.

God, thank you that I do not walk this Lenten road alone. These people beside me are your gift.
Jesus, you prayed for our unity. Unite this community. Not around politics or preferences. Around you.
Father, heal the divisions in this church. Some of us are not speaking to each other. Bring reconciliation.
Holy Spirit, give us eyes to see the lonely person in this room. Send someone to sit with them.
Lord, let us carry each other burdens. Not just in prayer. In meals. In rides. In financial help.
God, forgive us for treating church like a show we attend instead of a family we belong to.
Jesus, you said they will know we are your disciples by our love. Let our community be so loving that people notice.
Father, for the visitor who came tonight. Make them feel like they belong. Help us welcome them well.
Holy Spirit, bind us together. When one rejoices, let us all rejoice. When one weeps, let us all weep.
